Update 7-7-24- Due to the timing of the storm, we have made the difficult and very disappointing decision to cancel the rodeo for Monday, July 8th. After carefully considering all the available information, we determined that this is the safest option. Please share this information with any individuals participating or planning to attend the Texas FFA Rodeo. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Unless the weather becomes severe and the rodeo must be cancelled, no decisions regarding refunds will be made at this time. We encourage everyone to make the best decision for their safety but cannot guarantee a refund at this time.  TxFFA staff is closely monitoring the weather. We will post updates as needed on this website.

Below you can find the order of events for both days. We will start at 9am both days.

Each event will have two go-rounds and payout will be paid per round and on the average

No stalls available at the facility (see info below for booking stalls off site)

If you need stalls, Great Southwest Equestrian Center has limited availability.

I would suggest coming in off of HWY 290 go avoid the most traffic.

The fairground gates will open at 7am Sunday morning

Admission on to the grounds if free for spectating, so bring your chapters out to support the rodeo contestants!

Girl’s Events - Sunday, July 7 @ 9 am

Round 1: Barrel Racing, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping

Round 2: Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing

Boy's Events - Monday, July 8 @ 9 am

Round 1: Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Tiedown, Bull Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling

Round 2: Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Tiedown, Bull Riding
